The Birth of Nissa WA Aafaq- Women and Horizons

Nissa WA Aafaq was established in 2002, by a number of active feminists in the Triangle region, who were interested in increasing Palestinian women's rights through a liberal interpretation of the Islamic holy scripts. Nissa WA Aafaq founders, who come from different academic and professional backgrounds, share the desire to explore new horizons for women, to actualize themselves as active members of society.
