At this stage Nissa WA Aafaq believes it is of great importance to do an informative work about its notion. The majority of the population, it has been realized, is not aware of this notion and therefore lectures and other events to the audience are vital. Due to this fact, some people are and will be interested in knowing more about us and about our work. Some people also are interested to read the relevant literature. Thirdly, Nissa WA Aafaq believes that the western audience is also unaware of the potential benefit that lies in modern interpretations of the Islamic texts, regarding women, and hence the importance of building contacts with western organizations, mainly feminist. Our strategies are open to change of course, depending on feedback and reactions and also current occurrences in the future.
Increasing Awareness Through Lectures, courses, Symposiums, Conferences and Publications, Nissa WA Aafaq aims at increasing the public's awareness and understanding of modern interpretations of the Holy texts, regarding women.
Increasing publication resources Nissa WA Aafaq is working on building a library and information center to contain relevant books and publications for the interested public.
Building alliances Nissa WA Aafaq aims at networking with International women's groups and organizations, especially in the west, in order to build relationships and collaborations through providing information about its activities and giving a different image of Arab and Muslim women, than that of the passive and oppressed.
